A ghostly pirate ship appears out of the storm, on board are the remains of four long dead pirates, but something strange is about to happen! With the haunting melody of a long-forgotten sea shanty, the ghouls crack and split apart, and the pirates are reborn, ready to live again.
Based on the lives of the real 18th century pirates, Anne Bonny, John Rackham and Mary Read, this intricate dramatic plot, takes the audience on a strange and dark adventure. Finding themselves onboard their ship, it is not long before they fall into their old ways of aggression and selfishness, but why have they been reborn? Why are they alive again?
To answer these questions, they must re-live their past and remember, how they themselves suffered abuse and the tragic circumstances that ultimately led them to piracy. By re-living their past and through tests of character, they develop empathy and understanding towards others.
